Detailed Itinerary

  1. Day 1, Arrival in the Capital

    Activity: Arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC). VIP meet and greet. Transfer to your luxury hotel. Evening leisure time to adjust to the local pace.

  2. Day 2, The Mughal & Colonial History of Dhaka

    Morning: Visit Lalbagh Fort (17th Century Mughal complex) and the Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace), the former residence of the Nawabs. Afternoon: Experience a chaotic yet charming rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Old Dhaka. Visit the Star Mosque (Tara Masjid) and the Armenian Church. Evening: Sunset boat ride on the Buriganga River to witness the riverine life of the city.

  3. Day 3, The Ancient North – Mahasthangarh

    Morning: Relaxed breakfast. Afternoon: Drive to Bogra by private transport. Visit Mahasthangarh, the oldest known city in Bangladesh (3rd century BC). Explore the citadel ruins and the museum.

  4. Day 4, UNESCO Heritage – Paharpur

    Morning: Drive to Paharpur to see the Somapura Mahavihara, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest Buddhist monasteries south of the Himalayas (8th century). Afternoon: Drive to Rajshahi, the city of silk. Evening: Sunset walk by the Padma River.

  5. Day 5, Temple City & The Southward Journey

    Morning: Visit Puthia Temple Complex, home to the largest cluster of historic Hindu temples in Bangladesh with exquisite terracotta ornamentation. Afternoon: Drive to Khulna by private transport, the gateway to the Sundarbans.

  6. Day 6, Gateway to the Mangroves

    Morning: Transfer to Mongla and board your Local Houseboat. Begin the cruise into the Sundarbans, up to Harbaria Eco Tourism Center. Afternoon: Back to Khulna through Mongla. Night stay at Khulna.

  7. Day 7, Drive to Bagerhat

    Morning: Drive to Bagerhat (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Explore the Sixty Dome Mosque (Shait Gumbad Masjid), a marvel of medieval architecture from the Khan Jahan Ali period. Afternoon: Drive to Barishal, to visit the Floating Market. Evening: Spend the night at Barishal.

  8. Day 8, Return to Civilization

    Morning: Drive back to Dhaka, visiting Sonargaon and the Panam City - The Ancient Capital of Bengal, Evening: Dinner at a specialized Bengali fine-dining restaurant in Dhaka.

  9. Day 9, The Tea Capital – Srimangal

    Morning: Drive to Srimangal, the tea capital of Bangladesh. Afternoon: Check into the resort located inside nature. Visit a tea processing factory and taste the famous 7-Layer Tea.

  10. Day 10, Rainforests & Tribes

    Morning: Trek inside Lawachara National Park, a tropical rainforest. Look for the rare Hoolock Gibbons. Afternoon: Visit the Khasia and Monipuri tribal villages. Learn about their betel leaf cultivation and weaving culture.

  11. Day 11, Swamp Forest & Rivers

    Morning: Drive towards Sylhet. Afternoon: Boat ride in Ratargul Swamp Forest, the only freshwater swamp forest in the country. It is known as the "Amazon of Bangladesh" during the monsoon/post-monsoon.

  12. Day 12, Stone & Water – Jaflong

    Morning: Drive to Shada Pathor, Sylhet. Witness the crystal clear water flowing over rocks from the Meghalaya hills. Afternoon: Discovering the nature of Shada Pathor with a night stay in the area.

  13. Day 13, Return to Dhaka

    Morning: Relaxed breakfast. Fly back to Dhaka from Sylhet. Afternoon: Last-minute shopping (Aarong for handicrafts, Jamdani sarees). Visit the National Parliament House (exterior), a masterpiece by architect Louis Kahn.

  14. Day 14, Transport to the Airport

    The morning will include a relaxing breakfast that will be followed by a transport to the airport for departure.
